Alaskan Yellow Cedar is a gorgeous, white to yellowish western softwood found along the Pacific coast from southeast Alaska to Oregon. If left untreated, it will take on a silver-gray hue. It’s an excellent wood for exterior uses and its benefits include: resistance to decay, smooth, soft splinter resistant surface, and like Douglas Fir, it is very strong.

The ultimate tropical wood decking – dense, durable and resistant to decay. Heartwood can vary in color a reddish brown to a darker, blackish brown. Ipe is harvested in Central & South America. Brazilian IPE is subject to the strict standards of the Brazilian Institute of Environmental and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA).
